Your account
Delete your KerbAlert account
You can delete your account whenever you like. Here’s how, and exactly what happens to your information when you do.
In the app
- Open KerbAlert and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account, under Log Out.
- Check the list of what will be removed, tap Delete My Account, then Yes, Delete Everything.
Your account is deleted straight away and you’re signed out. This can’t be undone.
By email
Can’t get into the app? Email support@kerbalert.co.uk from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm it’s you, then we’ll delete your account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.
What’s deleted
- Your profile: name, display name, profile photo, email address and phone number.
- Your cars and motorbikes, and their number plates.
- Every report you’ve made, and its photos.
- Your watch requests, any watches you’d offered to do, and your parking history.
- Your emergency contacts, settings and notification tokens.
- The members you’ve blocked, your confirmations and your trust score.
What’s kept, and for how long
- Reports other members made about your car aren’t yours, so they stay until they’re deleted automatically, 90 days after they were made.
- Moderation records, such as flags on reports that broke the rules, are kept for 12 months to keep the community safe.
- Anything we’re required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

If you have Guardian
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription, because Apple and Google handle payments. Cancel Guardian too, or it will keep renewing: on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions.
